An expert in foreign affairs and national security, Karl has 35 years of worldwide experience delivering success for complex projects and managing risk in emerging markets. He has worked and lived in Latin America, East Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. Karl has planned and executed multi-million-dollar budgets and is an expert in delivering effect at the nexus of security, technology, and geopolitics in the world’s hardest operating environments.
Karl Wagner is also the Founder of NTN Holdings, a US-based firm that specializes in international investment, infrastructure development, and resilience-related project management services. Our diversified impact investment fund is “Nurturing Tomorrow Now” through investments that promote resilience, at the individual, enterprise, national, and global levels.
He also serves as Executive Leader and Strategic Advisor to several private sector organizations and charities. He is an active member of the American Society of Industrial Security and is involved in non-profit work in the veterans advocacy and PTSD prevention space. Karl has an M.A. in Security Studies (Magna Cum Laude) from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from University of Illinois. Karl is fluent in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
